Over the years, the Springfield Rotary Club has directly funded international projects such as the purchase of two water buffalos and a well-digging project in India.

Most recently, the Club funded the Whispering Hope Clinic, a rural health care facility in Honduras. The facility provides free healthcare and health education to more than 6,000 people from 30 nearby villages in an area which healthcare is non-existent and the average income is $300-500 per year. It is run by a Springfield-based organization with 100% of all donations going directly to mission work.
