Assistance included catheters and diapers for a child with Cerebral Palsy, repair of a hearing aid for an adult, help with the cost of a prosthesis for an adult born as a quadriplegic, a soft shell helmet for a child who head bangs on the floor, help purchasing a voice recognition computer for a child with Tourette Syndrome who cannot use a keyboard, and the cost of printing and postage for The Post - a newsletter by the Salvation Army about people with disabilities. Also this month we sent a check to The Riding Centre in Yellow Springs for $1000 for the adoption of a horse used in their therapeutic riding program which is utilized by children from Clark County.
