Grants-to-Teachers 2006-2007 Home About Rotary Duty Assignments Calendar Club Newsletter Useful Links Members Only Contact Us Grand Prix Employment Opportunity Grants totaling $3,850.03 were awarded to 8 multi-handicapped classrooms under our Grants-to-Teachers program. Grants can be requested for projects, field-trips, or materials which promote the learning process and enhance instruction and must not be fundable thru the schools. Because of our funding, students in five classrooms will have the benefit of therapeutic riding at The Riding Centre. Other grants included educational software, the creation of a "sensory corner" in a classroom, and audio-visual equipment that will be shared by 5 handicapped classrooms at North High School. Services to People with Disabilities is partially funded by The Springfield Foundation.
